Claiborne Sparks is a select girls basketball team for local youth. Team age divisions have ranged from 11 years old and under to 16 years old and under.
Coach Claiborne sponsored this team for 12 years, and he personally coached the team for 6 of those years.
Claiborne Sparks hosted the Governor’s Games, a tournament sponsored by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
The Governor’s Games brought families from around Louisiana and the Gulf Coast Region to St. Landry Parish for a great experience for over 10 years.
